Welcome to Books Worth Your Bucks. This is an ongoing blog hop with fellow authors to introduce Indie or small dubbed authors and their books to our readers. Each Friday, we will spotlight an author’s book, give buy links along with the links to the other authors participating in the hop, and say why we think this book is worth your bucks. Today, I review Hiding with the Heartbreaker.
Book Description
Born to money and rather blasé about it, Aloysius James McCallister Sutton is the third son of an oil baron. He turned to video games at a young age and eventually became a star (much to his family’s dismay) because of his hilarious internet videos. When a pal asks him to help out his girlfriend’s little sister, his first response is not only no, but hell no. But they are a brotherhood, and their mentor told him that he must protect the innocent…
When Jude Cramer is the only witness to a bungled burglary resulting in murder, the police point the finger at her as the guilty party. Not sure what to do, she runs to the one person she can trust–her sister. But her pregnant sister isn’t much help, instead foisting off her protection on a man who takes absolutely nothing seriously.
Can Jude find love while she’s Hiding with the Heartbreaker?
Includes new bonus content and a free preview of Rumors. Previously released as part of the Heartbreakers and Heroes anthology.
Review of Hiding with the Heartbreaker
I picked this book up for a quick, fun read with a happy ending. I have to say that I wasn’t disappointed at all. The characters had depth, were three dimensional, and grow through the short story. The situation was a little farfetched, but still fun. As for that long road trip and resulting hangry moments at the beginning… let’s just say I’ve been there. (grin) Jude’s lucky I wasn’t driving the car. She might have been left on the side of the road had I been in Al’s shoes because I’m much more like Jude than Al when I’m hungry.
If you are looking for a book worth your bucks, Ms. Nelson’s Hiding with the Heartbreaker should be high on your list.

Heh, that does sound like a fun read. I’m often grumpy when I haven’t eaten, too. 🙂
